From October 9th to 11th, Tsinghua University, Tel Aviv University, and the Israeli Embassy at China jointly held the 5th XIN Forum at Tsinghua University. More than one hundred scholars, entrepreneurs, investors and government officials attended the Forum and had in-depth exchange of views and discussion on technology innovation and collaboration. Jin, Qinxian, Vice Secretary-general of the Office of the President, and Director of the XIN Center of Tsinghua University, delivered a welcome remark at the forum, fully affirming the achievement of the XIN Center in promoting cutting-edge technology innovation, conducting international academic exchanges and cooperation, and exploring international technology. In the panel discussion, participants focused on the topic of how to build a bridge between technology, policy and capital for the big health industry.
During the XIN Forum, the faculty, researchers and students of the two universities reviewed their research projects, covering the areas of medical, life sciences, energy, environment and material science. Tel Aviv University delegation also visited Tsinghua Medical school and conducted in-depth academic exchanges with dozens of faculty and students of the Tsinghua medical school to discuss future research cooperation. After the forum, the Tel Aviv University delegation and the forum guests visited the Global Health and Drug Discovery Institute, the Global Health Innovation Center, and Boston Scientific T3 Engine.
